FAQ

Q. Which mirror should I use?

A. It doesn't matter. All mirror sites use the exact same files. That's what a mirror is.

Q. Do I need to download all the files?

A. No, absolutely not. Only download the file(s) you need. At the very most, you should only download one file per game.

Q. Which file is right for me?

A. First choose the game you want. Then:

Q. What is a cue sheet and what do I do with it?

A. A cue file tells your cd/dvd burning software how to burn the image. To use it, save or unzip it to the same folder where you saved the ISO file. Then, when you select 'burn image' in your cd/dvd burning software, select the cue file instead of the ISO image. Your software should know what to do from there.

Q. Some ISO files don't have a cue sheet. What's up with that?

A. Only three downloads use cue sheets. If you want to get technical, the cue sheet creates a mixed mode disk; if there is only one track then you don't need a cue file. Fact is, you don't "have" to use the cue in order to burn a disk, but it's better if you do.

Q. What if I don't use the cue sheet?

A. The disk will burn fine even without the cue sheet. The difference is that without the cue sheet you will not get the extras included on the full disk... because it will burn one track (the one with the game installer on it), not a mixed mode disk. The game will still work without problems or issues but if you have the chance to use the cue file, then why wouldn't you, eh? Using the cue file results in a 'perfect' copy of the original, authentic game disk.

Q. I used the cue sheet but the disk gave me an error or it did not burn properly.

A. These files are tried and tested. They work. If you're having problems then your cd/dvd burning software is probably at fault. Either try a different burning program, or select the ISO file and never mind the cue sheet. If all else fails, use nero, roxio or redownload the ISO and cue files.

Q. My burning program says it can burn NRG but it didn't work.

A. You're out of luck. A lot of programs boast and brag about things they cannot do. These files were created using the authentic and genuine nero and roxio programs. It is wise to use the program they are intended for. For best results, use the ISO file. All files have been tested in many situations and have worked flawlessly in each of them.
